This was my first competition on 99design.

After I read the brief, I tried to understand and want to make a simple, distinctive, and modern, so the logo can be placed in various media (versatile) and can be different from other logos.

Let me explain the process of making this logo.

In the first step, I tried to get keywords based on the brief and additional information that you sent. These are some of the keywords that I got:
1. Mountain Bicycle Store
2. "We" as a community
3. Premium
4. Wordmark / Lettermark

After that, I did some research about some brands that you chose as a reference and figured out modern shapes that can be used at the same time in the full-name brand.

I made a wordmark logo that has a customized font to make it modern and simple. I make distinctive symbols for the "WE" that can be placed in line. This huge customizing is done to represent Premium.

I decided to make a Tagline that is picked from Keywords to make it clear once again that What We Ride only provides Well-tested and premium Mountain Bicycle.

I put the Tagline below "WE RIDE" so when you see it at first glimpse you will focus on

"We Ride Premium Mountain Bicycle", is what I want to represent about your brand at first glimpse. And the last one is about the colors. I choose Complementary colors (Yellow and blue) to fill the logo. You can put the light theme logo on a yellow background.
